📌 Here's another ambience for your RPG sessions or for your projects, an underground mushroom forest. It's a very personal interpretation. Since mushrooms don't make noises, nor have leaves, I had to replace these sounds. I decided to use bells, I hope you'll appreciate. I added fantasy animal noises as well, since underground forests are supposed to have a real biodiversity as well. You can expect many more ambient creations like this one! Musky water drips onto my face. Only blacked out for a moment, and now everything hurts. I frown, trying to pierce through the dark, to find whatever hole I'd fallen through. Head's still ringing, but have to think... It was dusk. Elven hunting party - nasty folk. Hounds chased me. Crawled into a little crevice-
Oh. I fell. My brows furrow; my back aches from the movement. I'd fallen so far I couldn't see the sky. Am I...?
I push the thought from my mind, grimacing as I push myself up from the slimy earth. The world doesn't make sense, so I shut my eyes - must have hit my head too hard, or... worse. I look again, but the world remains. The 'earth' beneath my palms is a mushroom cap bigger than a house, solid but in pieces on the ground. It must've broke my fall. All around are its brethren, glowing faintly enough to make out a pale rainbow of colors in the black. Vines hang down from the caps onto a carpet of mossy stone, dew glistening like gemstones. The air's damp and musty, tastes too much like dirt, but I'm just glad to be alive, even if I've no clue where I am. Should be safe. I doubt the elves have a rope long enough to reach me, if they even know where I went.
Birdsong echoes above the vines. The ringing has grown beyond my head, keeping time with the slight swaying of the mushroom stalks. I rub my stiff shoulders. Are the mushrooms singing to each other, or...? I must've hit my head. A low sets my hairs on end, like the stone itself was moaning. Elves or no, I should keep moving: no telling what I'll find down here. I bite back a groan and crawl to my feet, staring at the cap that broke my fall. I reach down and rip a chunk off to eat later. Not like I'll find any elvish fare in this forest...

I love the bat noises in this one. People tend to think of bats as creepy, and they can be, but they're also wonderful and mysterious. They fit into this one nicely.
