I lost 50 pounds in 2 months, doing medium intensity on recumbent bike for 45 minute a day and some intermittent fasting. Plus I’m 49 years old.

You can lose just as much weight on a recumbent bike as you can on a spin cycle or regular upright bike. It's all about the amount of intensity you're willing to put into your workouts. I do HIIT workouts on my recumbent cycle that are torturous but very beneficial for health and weight loss. These bikes aren't just for rehabilitation or the elderly.

I do this bike everyday for 25 minutes on level 11. amazing, but it’s also hell at the same time.

I have been using recumbent bike desk for a few months now and have put 885 miles on it and this is the most productive workout I have done. I literally ride about 15 miles per day while I work and don't plan to stop as it is really good for my stress level but this workout was awesome. Thank you.

I’ve been working out sence my wife died in 2007 listen to me recumbent bikes are best if your older or you’ve had some kind of back problems the ones with your butt in the air younger people those are harder on you when you start to get older good information I stared at or before 50 I was a freak in the gym 1.200 Ab cruches a day and everything else when comes to recumbent bikes I had sweat flying off me it works don’t give up never say die good info from Coolted class of 1974 canyon country

I want to be able to play video games for a couple of hours ocassionaly but not stay behind on my cardio either. I skip rope while watching movies etc but you cannot play games while skipping. Of course I exercise a lot within the week on other instances and bc I have a busy schedule this helps me make time to play games while still doing cardio for fat loss.

When I am on the recumbent bike I hit the overhead invisible airspeed bag and throw punches like air guitar .Keeps the heart rate up

It all comes down to everything we eat .If you have a good lean Healthy bland meal plan And do cardio when you wake up then again after dinner you will be on your way . Hi my age is just 28 diagnosed with avn hip stage 3, so far the past three months i was not much active due to the pain so this results in high cholesteol level and risk of carido problem. So doctor suggested me to go low impact activities like swiming but i would like to go for recumbent stationary cycling rather than normal cycling ( which puts more pressure on hip joints)...is it okay ?
