If one can see that this is a Pythagorean triangle (i.e. 3, 4, 5 unit lengths with a right angle) multiplied by a factor of 3, then 9/3 = 3, 12/3 = 4 therefore 3x+x = 15 (3x5). So x = 15/4, x = 3.75

You can solve this bey seeing that it is a Pythagorean triangle with a magnitude of 3. Therefore the hypotenuse will be 15. So X = 15/4 = 3.75
