Yeah, I think worth it because the infotainment system basically has its own special mobile network IoT plan and I knew they'd have to charge for it just like paying for a regular mobile phone plan but less because it's a special plan that only uses Internet access and roams across different supported countries for those who go across the border (e.g. US to Canada, Norway indirectly to Germany, or Singapore to Malaysia). I don't have first-hand experience, but did watch other videos.

I vaguely remember from someone else's video that a software update allowed for Wi-Fi while in D or R so a mobile hotspot could be used if someone has a mobile phone plan where mobile hotspot use would be possible, whether on a phone or Wi-Fi router.

Dlc should be illegal. They already made you pay for it when you bought the car. That is why it's in the car. It would be like people buying a car and not allowed to use the radio that is already installed. I really hope this trend dies out because it's stupid.
