I review, breakdown and explain Rebel Ridge Netflix. I discuss the ending to the 2024 movie which is focussed on Terry Richmond as he looks to take down Chief Sandy Burnne along with Summer following the death of his cousin Mike. I react to the similarity to Jack Reacher on Amazon Prime Video and give my theories and predictions on a sequel movie.

I just watched it. It was a great movie 🎬
He didn't want bloodshed, and yeah, it was crazy how the movie kept making a thrill tense

Never seen a movie that was modern day with zero sex scene, not a lot of blood shooting dead bodies, or forced homosexuality scenes, just great acting and intense drama and with such a great message in the movie. Wow great writing “Jeremy Saulnier” blown away! 5 star ⭐️

I think the meaning of the ending was, the other county police officers purposely acted as escorts so they won't be arrested too because they know they don't stand a chance against the evidence and if they continued pursuing another police car on a state highway it would seem suspicious, and the state police would notice and would be involved, instigating an investigation that could put them to jail. So they acted as escorts with a goal in mind to take the evidence away without violence so the state police won't notice. And Terry (the protagonist), noticed their change in behavior so when they arrived at the Hospital, he took the thing which I assume is where the video file from the dash cam is stored, so they won't be able to get rid of the evidence. And if they fail to get rid of the evidence they would need someone to blame so they pointed their blame towards the chief.

*You are Bad at explaining*, the officer didn't switch sides, he was the secret former military friend (codename: Serpico) of summer but Terry had mistaken Jessica for Serpico because of that Stupid "he/she" conversation he had with summer, like when he asked, "who is he?" she asked, "why do u assume it's a he?".

Now, that we have cleared up the "Serpico" confusion, let's come to "why did Jessica betray him?", my theory is she was afraid that him trying to escape would lead to loss of life or she must have been torn up between self preservation or doing the right thing but at the end she made the right choice.

I really enjoyed this movie. The part where he’s explaining PACE… it was so good! I wanted a few more moments like that but over all, it was REALLY good.

That final right scene was incredible, the less than lethal force that Terry displayed was a sight to be seen. The way he climbed under the truck and tripped the officer was so bad ass.

Very strong performances by the cast as well.

I liked that Jessica turned on him. It added a realistic complexity to the movie. Here is a black woman working in a hick town with racist, crooked people. All she is trying to do is hold on to her job and not get killed. At this point in the film she's thinking 'are you crazy girl, I'm not going down with this random dude who rode into town on a bike' but then when she saw the Chief shoot her follow cop she was back on Terrys side again!

A movie that shows a Black lead who’s not a pushover, lgbt, or an idiotic street guy. Just a smart tough guy who’s imposing and getting things done no matter what. Great Job Netflix!

I was never a fan of action movies, police, gun fighting ecc, they were never my cup of tea but wow…this movie was so amazingly written that kept me hooked from start to finish. The characters actually made intelligent choices and tension was there all the time with no dull moments

How about that ending after he gets Summer into the hospital and he goes to break open that ax?! I know NONE of us were expecting him to simply be going to the trunk of his car with it. Was totally expecting him to fight or attack or something, lol The ending was marvelous! Some how when he held that recorder to his chest it made me emotional!

This was a great Movie. I didn't like the abrupt ending. There's got to be a sequel in the works.

I watched this movie yesterday night (Friday). I love military men because they exude strong leadership, strength, masculinity, and laser focus. I am on my third watch. All the actors were excellent. A powerful movie. 😅❤❤

Can we all get Terry Richardson, Jack Reacher, Jack Ryan, James Bond, Aaron Cross and Jason Bourne all in one movie at some point down the road.

Great movie. A story that took itself seriously, with a powerful lead. A nice high quality nostalgic action thriller that we don’t get often.

I feel like the corruption storyline wasn’t particularly original, but it was still a great ride. And I agree he would be a great character to follow in some sequels.

I just love that this movie is just so gripping with lots of twists and turns that you wouldn’t directly see coming but never insults the viewers intelligence and every character still reacts to things happening to them in a believable way. It’s 2 hours long but the time just flew by and I have to say I’m intrigued as to how John Boyega would have portrayed the character but Aaron Pierre absolutely killed it, I could never see anyone else but him play that character now, all in all a very very good movie
