KINDERGARTEN TEACHER ESSENTIALS | must have classroom items for your first year teaching

To all my fellow type B teachers, I cannot stress enough how useful it is to invest if your own LASER printer. I personally found a used color HP laserjet pro off Facebook marketplace for like $90 (usually $300) and I use off-brand toner from Amazon. A single toner cartridge is like ~$40 and yields ~1, 500 pages so it goes A LONG way! Unlike ink printers, laser printers are so much quicker! It saved my backside SO MANY times when I couldn’t make it to the workroom before a lesson. Being type B, I also get random moments of inspiration to do a completely new lesson from scratch and I’m only able to do that because I have access to my own heavy duty printer. Highly recommend!

Have you been able to obtain a photograph of your new classroom so that you can see how you can set it up in the future? A desk calendar with lines on it is also helpful to write important events or deadlines as the year progresses. Thank you for your video presentation. Take care.
