Blair was no 'hammer of the left.' There were Conservatives more left than him. He wasn't a Labour leader, his was 'New Labour'. The Labour Party died when Kinnock lost to Thatcher and has never returned.

I just love some of the haters here who have absolutely no idea and talk tosh and just say they don’t like him. I’m not a a Tory and the current Labour are appalling but his comments and a pundit view point of view is pretty fair and shows how intelligent Gove is. I agree he is not a leader and many don’t appeal his Oxford history but he started in normal education and started as a Labour Party member! Not many who would not realise his background if they bothered to read.
