Continuity & Differentiability- This calculus lesson shows how can we prove any function is continuous & how can we show any function Differetiable. Any function will be continuous if the left hand limit , right hand limit and functional value at a point is equal. If any function is not meeting this criteria will not be continuous at the point.
Similarly, a function is said to be diffferentiable at any point if the left had derivative and right hand derivative is equal at that point.
Based on these two rules of continuity and differentiability we are going to solve this question of finding unknown terms.
I hope this video lesson was helpful in gaining concept of limits and continuity.

We find the value of K by continuous concept bcoz this is only the given thing to proceed the question, and we can easily get value of k by doing so..this is the way generally we do to find unknown terms if function is we can't find value of m by this concept, if u do sou ll get lhl = rhl = f(x) simply same may be zero(at x=0)..and u ll be unable to get m....that is why question has cleverly given us second condition that the function is differentiable at all points....:D
