Yes, here in Singapore there's an overwhelm of LED lights & TV screens everywhere with fast-moving images jumping at us at every corner, there are even TV screens by the roadside. These were constructed & installed during the lockdowns, there were major renovations in the malls while people were at home. In the last 1 year or so, the announcements in subway trains became very loud & overbearing.

This is the new normal they were talking about, it is obviously for the purpose of overwhelming our senses & distracting us from what is important.

When I went to Bangkok last year it was the same, TV screens were everywhere, even at the top of the building opposite our hotel.

Some people made a huge fortune through this policy, which changed the fabric of our material reality drastically.

I actually have nobody to communicate with. My internal dialogue never stops from ADHD. Way too much screens, definitely addicted to my phone but that is only because I am so burnt out from years of struggling & trying & nothing changes. I just don’t understand my life anymore. I have Venus in my natal Gemini and have always loved nuanced communication. The incredible feeling of isolation that comes with a limited vocabulary is especially confronting for me. Beginning to wear earplugs in public transport and near car roads, and enjoying being in silence or nature soundscape(sadly often disturbed by some motor thing).
