Dear Ben,
I'd like to drop a quick note just to say that I passed my C2 Proficiency test last month, and you have helped me a lot with all your fantastic videos. Thanks for being so generous with this global community. Sending warm regards from Brazil.

As a student of History and English I really enjoy listening to the BBC podcasts "In Our Time" as well as "You're Dead To Me". First one has a great variety of topics with leading experts in their field and the second is just infotainment. Highly recommend!

Hi Ben :) I'm preparing for my C1 Advanced exam. Thank you for the advice ! I will check the Ted podcast (I've never heard of it so far). And... just one remark :) If every English speaking person spoke so clear English like you, most of us (non English natives) wouldn't need any remarkable preparation ;) Greetings from Poland !!

Really good recommendations. I would also add watching tv series without subtitles and listening to the BBC radio news to improve listening skills even further since they usually use advanced structures and vocabulary. It's amazing how massively it helps to listen to native speakers material. I went from not being able to pass the listening section of the CAE a year ago to consistently get around 80-90% correct answers with barely any specific exam practice.

Hi! Thank you for the good advice! Recently, I also discovered a podcast named "Ologies", presented by Alie Ward, who hosts experts in different filelds. Any episode is dedicated to an "-ologie": the experts talks about the most intriguing details of their discipline and then they answer the listener's questions. I like it because of the wide range of topics (that also allow you to choose the ones that appeals you the most) and the relaxed style that makes you feel like you're just having a chat with your friends. Bye from Italy!

Hello Ben! Thank you very much for these recommended podcast sources in English. I use Ted on a regular basis, but I must admit that I'm totally hooked to the BBC radio program Desert Island Discs, in which famous people are interviewed about their personal and professional lives. I just love that program. Some of my favorite ones are Bill Gates, Tom Hanks, Kylie Minogue, Pat McGrath, Bruce Springsteen, David Beckham, Ed Sheeran, John McEnroe, Professor Carlos Frenk, Levi Roots..., there are so many that I love. I listen to them over and over again and I never get tired of them.

Hello Ben. I've listened to TED talks for some time.
I also recommend "Curiosity daily" (science with an entertaining narration), "F1 chequered flag" (previews and reviews of each F1 race), "The Archers" (like a radio novel by the BBC), Star talk (science and science fiction with Neil de Grasse Tyson).

I'm interested in business topics, so I can recommend some podcasts: One of my favorites is The Ramsey Show- this guy can help you with finance and he also is willing to share with you his advice, tips, and experience. The second one is Brian Tracy's channel. He made a lot of videos/audiobooks /e-books about personal development, achieving your own goals, self-confidence, etc.

I absolutely adore Michael Rosen's "Word of mouth" on BBC app. I came across it looking for something about Roald Dahl's word formation. And I've been totally "swallowed" by his podcasts. It's about English language and its different, curious phenomenons. Thanks for Your recommendations!

Hi Ben! Hope you are doing well, greeting from Gijon! Oh I just want to thank you for the Lexicon Valley podcasts. I love languages so much and especially Russian, which is my mother tongue. He does so interesting analysis about it. Amazing! Thank you.
