The role of Ibrahim is comparatively more difficult than others. Other characters have emotions like sadness, love, anger, worry, etc to show, whereas the character of Ibrahim has nothing to show. He has nothing to lose, as he is not in love at the moment and his mind is clueless and blank. And on the top he doesn't have the dialogues. Bilal is portraying this typical character so beautifully.

This show is made with so much sensitivity, they didn't show alia hanging herself, they didn't show the lynch-mob - they don't want sensationalism or violence for shock value. They've also highlighted the plight of minorities in Pakistan...and gave a loving tribute to the brotherhood between the people of the Book. So well written, so well thought out ♥

That warning look Ibrahim shot at Aliya's bro as he was about to open them was chef's kiss ..he's a "less words & more actions" kind of a guy🖤..Ibrahim might be naive but his emotional intelligence is laudable...Aliya doesn't have to ask him anything, he understands when and where she can fight alone and when and where she needs his support.whenever he feels she needs help, he steps in to take a lead without thinking twice, no questions asked...he & Aliya both are oblivious to the fact that he's become her support system, he's unknown that he's strong enough to be someone's support system..Right now he's on the run with her because that's what Aliya wants, the day she decides to stay back & face Shabbir he'll stand by her..

Sabeena has set the bar high for natural acting.. Following in the footsteps of Sajal and Iqra.... And on another note Alia is very lucky to have someone like Ibrahim.. Imagine if it was a bhediya.

So Aliya has learnt to repair equipments from her late father, that was quite a revelation 🖤🖤...it was heartbreaking to hear how her father died while protecting his friend & Church💔....how attentively Ibrahim was listening to her and he didn't utter a word until the very end when he called her dad 'martyr', exact term that Mr Yousuf used later on.

Aliya's reaction to Ibrahim opening the locked door and gesturing her to come out was absolutely priceless....that pleasant shock on her face and newfound respect in her eyes was awe-inspiring 😍😍...she literally started walking to him in trance, drawn to him, as if he's pulling her with a rope....she saw him in completely different light because he did something that she never thought he would do, knowing the kind of a person he is....Sabeena was excellent here in conveying these feelings with her eyes & face only..

Zaffer Mairaj is such a brave Artist he always choose to write about the harsh truths of our society. I don't know why this drama is so underrated.I truly appreciate everything about this drama the actors the acting the plot the story. Tbh after a very long time I found something worthy to watch. Everything is so natural and beautiful... just amazing

This show is so underrated. The pacing, the performance, the plot, the direction- everything is just mind blowing. Not for a second you get bored. Bilal and Sabeena really compliment each other well. The actor who played Aliay's chacha also did a brilliant job in front of Shabbir.

*Love* how in these times of hatred and bigotry, this show is spearheading the showcase of basic quintessential humanity...brimming with what makes us human: consideration, love and togetherness. "eid te mithaiyian, waday din te cake, easter shabraat te shurliyian pathakhay... *sanja se sara kuch* ". One brother gave his life, and the other brother kept (alia) alive.

One brother died in the fire meant for his brother, and the other brother immortalized only the sacrifice of his beloved, not the mob that was there to destroy him...
