ANIMAL GUARDIANS MALTA FUNDRAISER 2021

Показать описание
Calling all Animal Lovers:
Animal Guardians Malta is a Maltese cat sanctuary taking care of more than 220 cats and kittens. They are a no kill shelter, meaning if a cat is not successfully rehomed, they will keep it for life.
Sadly, they have fallen on hard times. They have not been able to run the cat cafe for over a year now due to the ongoing pandemic meaning there have been virtually no donations for a year. Animal Guardians Malta also receives zero funding from the Maltese government, meaning they are on their own taking care of all these cats and kittens that would otherwise starve.
To date, Animal Guardians Malta has €8000 of immediate debt and costs of €3000 per month are needed to give a good standard of care to the cats they have. This includes food and medical bills for 220 cats.
I am launching this urgent appeal to raise £35,000 (approx €40,000) to settle Animal Guardians Malta's immediate debts and buy them around a year for the cat cafe to be allowed to run as normal and bring in regular donations like before.
Will you please help this amazing sanctuary to survive and outlast the pandemic by giving what you can?
Even if you have never visited Malta before, please can you help this sanctuary of cats on this little island in the Mediterranean? Perhaps one day you will visit Malta for a holiday and you can see the amazing work you have helped support for yourself and enjoy a coffee at the cat cafe while being affectionately brushed by 220 cats!
