The problem with the floppy drive might be due to the use of 1.44 MB discs in a 720 kB drive

Can an external monitor be connected to this machine? The built-in screen seems way to slow for anything but static screens

I had one, but for a variety of reasons I just found it not a viable device in most circumstances. And running on Alkaline batteries? Please!

Funnily enough I lent the 640k version of this off a friend (in dark gray and with 2 drives) used it for college work, I then eventually got hold of this one, I do not recall where it is great fun with them :) I am kind of amazed how well block out played, I wish I had a copy at the time :p.

Lovely machine, this. Always wanted one. How does the screen look in real life? It looks like it could be more reflective but perhaps it's clearer in person?
