I find this quite nostalgic as my dad used to take me geocaching around the city as a kid, but on the other hand finding a geocache like this back then probably would of traumatised me and given me a crippling phobia of baked beans for the rest of my life.

I was on vacation in Australia a little while ago. My dad and I decided to try out geocaching again because the first time we tried it was in the US and we didnt find anything despite geochaches being on the map. We stumbled across yours and had a fun time doing it! Although we were both very confused from the video, we thought that someone was watching us hahaha

When we saw the beans we didnt know if we were supposed to take them or not to we left them and I guess the next person picked them up, we didnt leave a note or review but I wanted to let you know that your geochache was a good time!

What you don’t know is that the very first original geocache hidden in 2000 had a can of baked beans in it. That can is now something of a “holy grail” for hardcore cachers, it has its own tracking number and the guy brings it to events so people can log that they saw it. So including beans in your cache actually made you look way more clued into the geocache community than you intended.

Far as I know there’s no vagisil or toenail jars in geocache lore though.

As someone who has messed around with geocaching before, the reason many people probably didnt comment on some of the weird comments is they likely think they were just left by others. They cant confirm it was you, and most people who would put the work in to create a stump like you did wouldnt go fill it with vagasil or a jar of toenails :D so thats what I think happened. great video :D

I've got a tip for future serial killers: hide a cache in the woods, in some remote location hard to find. People will want to get it because it's hard to find and you just have to wait until the app tells you someone found it. Then you simply go to the location and murder them. I can already see the media calling you the "Cache Killer"

This was actually a really good video. I love your trolling content but this was awesome as well. I remember when they introduced us to geocaching in elementary school, and I actually tried it a few times myself. This makes me want to make some cool little box and see what people think. Great video!
