It is not a problem of China being big or small, kidnapping a national from another country for no reason is an act of war in old times. China's responses so far have been quite restrained. It can turn even worse as it drags on. China did not initiate all this, China only responded to the aggressiveness on the part of Canada on behalf of US political interest.

What does Canada expect when sticking its nose in a trade squabble between USA and China? The USA gives support when it is in their interest - in other words “Every man for himself” - Canada hasn’t wisened up enough to realize this fact yet!!!
