Swiss Air-Rescue Rega is seen landing at Bern with its brand new rescue helicopter of the type, Airbus Helicopters H145. The first H145 helicopter has just gone into operation at the Rega base in Bern. Good luck!

In the background is the BAe 146-100 ZE100 of the Royal Air Force (my favourite aircraft) and the helicopter AS 350B3 Ecureuil (H125) HB-ZSN is seen taking-off.

GREAT, SPLENDID, BOUNTEOUS "3 X 1" CATCH!!! Now that I proudly consider you Friend, I'm gonna tell You: when it comes to choosing between fixed and rotary wing, I'll go with 🚁helicopters. Their ability to provide LIFT and THRUST with their rotor definitely wins me over. And this is even more so for EUROCOPTER models: their Fenestron tail rotor, their stylized fuselages, their mostly Turbomeca engines, and in the case of 3-blade rotors (AS350, EC130, EC120), their incomparable, utterly MUSICAL sound! In fact, the AS350 is among my favourite aircraft.
And speaking of favourites, let me share my thoughts on the outstanding BAe 146: I agree it's a great aircraft as well: I like it A LOT, too - the streamlined fuselage, the very distinctive anhedral wings, the idea of four smaller engines being maybe quieter that two big ones, the air brakes that deploy from the empennage, and so on. You have every reason to like it, friend!

Die REGA sehe ich immer gerne, allerdings bekommen wir in Graz nur die Challengers zu sehen.
