On 24 February 2022, residents of Ukrainian cities woke up because of powerful explosions, the howling of sirens, and troubling calls from loved ones and relatives. On that day, russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine and started the bloodiest war in Europe since World War II. This unprecedented aggression of the russian federation has provoked a deep international security crisis, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths and about 7 million refugees.

The number of troops is inaccurate. You're including reserves for Russia which weren't sent in until recently but not for Ukraine. The regular troops on Feb 24th were approximately 200k for each side. Then Ukraine mobilised and has had a numerical advantage ever since.
