On our special WEB EXCLUSIVE Morning Mixtape today, we've got Pearl Joplin & the Piney Woods Boys, Doug Hayes and Paul Pulliam! This special segment was recorded in our studio to showcase the band that is finalizing plans for the #RTW50 Woodstock tour now! They describe themselves as a blues/rock and roll group with a new-age Janis Joplin style!

Pearl herself hails from this region her whole life and has lived all over Southeast Texas -- at one point, she was even a professional opera singer!

Tbh this is actually pretty inspiring. Beautiful hip hop beat and instruments underneath sincere, raw vocals. Lyricism is relatable and melodic. Say what you want but this one slaps.
