So I did the math again and with the best case scenario $320.00 for 400 credits deal, the mastering chain costs about $71.00 per hour. Sorry Mr. Pete Lyman, but that's simply too rich for my and my musician client's blood. Great rack of equipment, particularly the Massive Passive EQ and the Portico II MBP.

Maybe one day I'll be able to burn that kind of money in a fireplace but for now I'll stick with the peasant gear! 😆

Also, that Maag GUI is way too small. I wouldn't be too happy spending $71/hour and squinting/using a magnifying glass any time it was pulled up.

I would do all plugins and then finish it off with the Master Buss Processor. Irreplaceable peice.

You can’t buy the transformer box or the treble limiter - they are custom made. Then consider the cost of both the DA and AD converters - now add up the cost of each piece of equipment in the chain. Then consider that you don’t have to pay for racks, cables or power. Now add in the convenience of full recall, presets and the ability to connected from anywhere. Use the coupon to try the chain and hear how powerful it is compared to your plugins. There is real value here. Mastering is important, why cut corners when you can use the best equipment? This chain has mastered some outstanding records. And once you’re familiar with the chain it’s quite possible that you can work efficiently and use smaller blocks of time. How could you expect this to be cheaper than using an equivalent chain in the Access Analog rack? And where can you find something that is an equivalent? You’d have to buy the gear, go to a mastering studio, or settle for plugin emulations. Let us know how that works out

It's certainly super cool. They have dropped the price from this. It's still crazy expensive. In Australia, that's insane. It would have to be $15 US per hour or less to even have to consider it. It's just not feasible. It's awesome gear but it's not going to be possible for most people.

Ha ha. Better work fast! Or give that money to a mastering engineer instead. lol

Never liked Axcess Analog to begin with. Tried it, didn't like it. Decided they could be hosting plugins and I would never know.

Absolutely not paying a subscription fee or paying per hour. This absolutely GUARANTEES that I never will!!!
