Nikon D500 Users Guide

The users manual that comes with the camera is fine but it doesn't usually explain the things you really need to know.

My freaking hero!! I just bought this camera and I've spent hours trying to find out how to adjust aperture. I shot wide open all morning because I didn't know about the front wheel and none of the other videos I've watched mention it. Even Google searches don't show anything other than aperture priority. Thanks for this video. I just received my D500 from Allen's Camera and I love it. Now I'm happy to have watched this video and I just want to learn more. External flash is giving me issues right now. I'm using a Cactus V6 and RF60. I'm hoping to learn more on the flash controls in the D500.

God bless you, sir! I just got the D500 after using a D40x, a D90 and a D750. So this more professional format had me stumped! I attached all my different flashes and couldn't get a single one to fire! I had the camera set to Ch and it would only take one shot and based on the mechanical noise, it was taking to long to finish the shot. I knew there had to be a setting somewhere or a mode. After setting back to factory setting and then following your steps to the letter...BAM!!!! The camera does everything I want it to do and I can finally made the ISO, Shutter, and F stop settings I need. The flashes work, the multiple shot works. Everything works. You've saved my sanity. :)
