I'm a believer and last year Alex & Leila Hormozi completely changed my life in terms of productivity and growing as a business woman and naturally the only gift I could give them was I started praying for their salvation cause what do you give millionaires lol, I could tell they weren't believers but I could also tell that Alex had some form of Christian background. Watching this has me in tears and I completely sympathize with him cause I know what its like being inquisitive about everything in life and yet by grace I found all the answers I needed in Christ and those I haven't I have peace as I keep learning Him more.Faith really is a gift and Hope and Belief in Jesus Christ just makes life so much more beautiful and meaningful. I will keep praying and believing that the Lord would reveal Himself to Him.

After watching this I have a new, better idea of Alex. He's not yet another atheist who just ignorantly rejects all religious ideas. Turns out he's been through the entire rabbit hole.

None of us have ever seen air, yet we believe it exists because we've felt its presence and seen its effects. It's the same thing with God. None of us have ever seen God but we've seen his effect on this earth and the universe. The human body is one of the best examples. How the different parts operate and coordinate together is amazing. Also, ever noticed how regardless of the number of children people in different countries have the ratio of male to females is almost always 1:1. It's not happenstance. There's definitely a supernatural being controlling these factors in the background.

I disagree, but I sympathize with the sentiment. Contemplating the big questions should be a lifelong activity I think - and done very carefully. Sounds like he manically searched for answers for 5 years and it ate away at other parts of his life. Given that he's not receptive to others who want to talk to him about it makes it seem like the entire journey was more traumatic than informative.

His logic is incredibly sound. Most don’t follow the why we we are here question to it’s end or even think about it lightly. It is the foundation of all of our outputs, so it must be settled first. Disagree with his decision, but he’s right you must make one. Maybe it would have been better for him had he spent his entire life sorting out this decision, seeing as it is the foundation for why “being a productive member of society” has any significance in the first place. It seems as though he inherently understands objective moral values and duties exist (ie: why he ought to be a productive member of society ) 🧐 Altogether positive that this discussion is happening.

He thinks about it from a strictly scientific, materialistic standpoint which makes sense bc if I did that, I too would be an atheist. There’s nothing to touch, test or reason yourself into. It has to come from seeking something within at a deeper, spiritual level, which takes a leap of faith to say, “If there’s something, then God show me who you are and what this is.” Then be ready..

That's where he has gone wrong. Belief isn't mean to serve the creation. In my estimation, his statements stem from a place of arrogance. If he's on a crashing plane, I doubt he would still hold the same world view.

The only logical way to believing in some form of Christianity is to observe creation and that it was created by intelligent design. After that, it is completely on faith. There is no logical reason why there would be God, Who would even care about His creation that decided to turn and hate God.

What’s really interesting is, you will practice the religion you are born into. But, shouldn’t we study other faiths and scriptures to make sure we’ve got the full picture? Ask any of your “religious”friends if they’ve read other scriptures outside of the one they believe in 🧐🧐
