Being a member of a flying club with a C172 and having other pilots, CFIs and CFIIs needing to stay current is a great opportunity because we split the flight time while I am their safety pilot! We file an instrument flight plan and I do the radios - so even that helps me with continual improvement with radio communication with ATC.

Great video! I knew Jonathan would be a great pilot from the first video. Congrats on the PPL. Seems he made a pretty damn good safety pilot as well.
Scheduled to take the plane for a day on the 1st of Sept. Hope to be able to take my family to the panhandle to see the beach. Gotta get some proficiency flights in first, but we're ready. Next on the list: I have to get with you to schedule an instrument lesson in my 182!!
Thanks again, Lewis for another great video.

Greetings Lew, before your soft field take off you mentioned two rolls of trim to help you stay in ground effect... Which way did you roll the trim. I'm a PP, haven't flown in a while, a bit rusty, but still learning while chair flying. Thanks for ALL your great content!! -John

I have two questions. Do you not want to fly for airlines? And what advice would you give to an aspiring pilot with a fear of heights

Had a bad experience when buying my flying eyes. Even With the code. I ended up paying 30% MORE than the standard price. Was a big shock when I got the bill.

Does practice make perfect, or does practice make repetition? (If practice is done wrong, then it’s perfectly wrong). Just something an instructor at a trade school told us.

is it just me or does the controller in Leesburg have a crappy attitude?
