That’s Birds Eye chillies. We use it a lot in South Indian cuisine. Very spicy but has a great flavour.

Hi, in South Africa, we call them peri-peri (Perry as in the platypus) chillies 🌶️

They feed those peppers to children with colds in Trinidad and Tobago. We call it "bird pepper". But "Birds Eye" is the proper term. (Fixed typo)

i think its a variety seen in south asia.we just mix few of them in rice directly, if we dont have any side dish

Bird eye chilies is the more broadly accepted term. Peri peri is basically the African version, but then again it’s also called the African Bird’s eye.

Peri peri and piri piri are both right so is wiri wiri it just depends on the country there are lots of names for it.

I actually have the same air fryer. So glad not to need to heat up the house by using my oven to accomplish the same task. That said, your directions, (of course), are not applicable to all types of hot peppers. To dehydrate my home grown cayenne peppers, I set my air fryer to 165 for 9 hours.

Word of caution, your house is gonna smell spicy for the first couple of hours. I dehydrate mine in my garage.
