You know, that last Alligator clearly bit down on purpose but didn't really intend to do much. Look at how slowly she bit then casually gives a little shake from side to side. If she really want to do harm or to try to eat him the bit would have been a whole lot faster and stronger with a quick roll. She just seems like she has had enough and is just letting the guy know. Crocodilians (alligators are in the crocodilian family) are very smart and that has been proven. They do hold an intelligence level on par with dogs.

Some people honestly have no common sense when it comes to being safe around crocodiles and gators. If the croc had really wanted to, it could have chomped a hole in the cameraman's boat and made him lunch.

Those guys in #1 are obviously aware that sometimes the gator WILL bite down, and have trained to deal with it. Probably the best "croc vid" online is Battle At Kruger - which is mostly buffalo vs. lion, but a croc gets in on the action too.
