In this video I pretty much show how to do a oil change, One of the easiest maintenance things you can do to your car and save a little money doing it yourself too. it costs me 40$ to do this stuff myself as to where the nearest shop charges anywhere from 70$ - 100$ depending on which oil you want to put in.

Thanks bro. Needed breaker bar to get off housing but other than that easy money. Saved me a lot doing myself.

Torque Specs:
Drain plug: 30ft lbs
Oil filter: 18.5ft lbs
Filter drain valve plug: 10ft lbs

Good job emphasizing not to over crank on the oil filter. Nothing worse than removing a filter that He-Man put on.

I normally have the dealer do mine so they can tell me what else needs to be done. For instance lastboul change they said my brake pads were extremely low. So I changed them out for less than a $100 and save myself hundreds of dollars. But I’m only at 68k miles so imma do the oil myself this time. Better to spend $40 instead of $100. Thanks for the video!

Tighten by hands? Not with those plastic type. Tight until rim of the filter touch the metal surface, last few turns need tools

INYOURFACE-

Just had to fight mine to get the oil filter housing off and now my filter cap tool is stuck on the housing. Luckily I didn't loosen the metal piece on the bottom so I was able to do the rest of the oil change. Any ideas on how to get a stuck tool off?
