Rivers - Lower Course

The features and characteristics of a river's lower course. The journey resumes along the lower course of the River Aire and River Ouse, and on to the Humber Estuary and Spurn Point.

We encounter floodplains, levees, washlands and estuaries. There is also a look at Alkborough Flats.
