Listen to a fascinating conversation about the future of cancer research — and medicine — at our Science Says on Tuesday, March 23. New technologies, genomic analysis, and massive data sets are transforming how we visualize the body, unlock the secrets of disease, and develop more precise diagnostic tools and treatments. Fred Hutch President and Director Dr. Tom Lynch facilitated a conversation with Drs. Rob Bradley, Melody Campbell, and Gavin Ha, who are leading us into the future.

There was also time for COVID Corner with Dr. Jim Kublin, executive director of the COVID-19 Prevention Network's operations program, answering questions of the day including what the recent news headlines mean for AstraZeneca, and which is the best vaccine to get.

Love what you are doing at Fred Hutch. That said, Thomas Lynch please use a real microphones and turn echo cancellation off because the sound is all crunchy and compressed. Melody Campbell has an ear bud microphone (better but not good) but it is rubbing against her skin making an unpleasant scratching noise. How about getting Professor Campbell a microphone and a camera that is not built into her laptop and pointed at florescent lights in the ceiling. Its nice story that she has 4 million dollars for super chill imaging equipment but she needs (for a few dollars more) a camera, and some lighting. 2021 y'all.
