I hope you enjoyed a happy Thanksgiving, Weisses. 🦃 I watched "The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" on TV. I feasted for dinner, but I got so very plenished. I was fuller than my expectations from previous Thanksgivings. I had a wedge of a chocolate cream pie after my rest and relaxation. I stayed at my home to avoid the Black Friday crowds, but I hope you enjoyed shopping. 🛒

🛍️🛒💲 Isn't Gabrielle 20 years old now? My daughter turned 20 this year and she uses her own money for her personal affects like, makeup, clothes, shoes, special $50 shampoos, phones etc. I feel like it's her responsibility to do that at age 20 since I'm paying the rent, utilities, buying all the food, paying for gas, car and car upkeep and doing all the housework. She goes to school and also works part time to get things she wants for herself. Kids need to learn early that life isn't a free ride and everyone pitches in.

From a European perspective, it is really interesting to see how openly and even enthusiastically materialistic/ consumption-oriented the lifestyle promoted in your videos is. I mean you all really seem to enjoy shopping together, but here a lot of people would be worried not only because of the wealth displayed for all the world to see but also because of sustainability issues. I also consume a lot but there is a different awareness now and I feel more and more people try to buy higher quality and generally sensibly...personally I also feel a bit unsettled by all the stuff cluttering our family home. I would really like to reduce and focus on high quality pieces but it is difficult with children 😅
