@Anna114xD Hi. Elastic Time and Elastic Pitch are both included with Pro Tools SE. thanks for getting in touch and watching!

In the bottom left hand corner, just left of the elastic plugin menu, there is a blue circle/clock (samples), click this and change it to the green triangle (ticks), this allows the audio to be fixed to the grid and changed, and you will then get the tempo options.

@RastaRhalik Hi, thanks for getting in touch. When using auto tune on vocal it's recomendad to first edit and treat the vocal with eq and compression. Once you have the sound your looking for insert the auto tune plugin to the end of the signal chain so you get the clearest, most consistant sound possible. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

Thank you very much! This second tip worked for me. What I was missing was that double-clicking on the vertical lines turns them to markers. Thanks once again and keep it up!

Hi, thank for our question. One way of doing this is by using a Noise Gate. Another great option is the Waves Z-Noise plugin. It can distinguish between the audio in file and the noise, making it easy to separate the two allowing for a clean sound. We will be publishing a tutorial on how to this soon. We will send you a link to a Noise Gate tutorial so you can get started.

Hi, thanks for your question. You can also use the TCE tool (Time Compression / Expansion tool) to time stretch audio files. You can find the tool if you click and hold on the Timmer tool and choose TCE. Now you can drag the region / clip drag in to time compress or out to time stretch. Let us know if this info helps.

@TheFulkanelli Hi, thanks for writing. In Pro Tools there's the popular Vari-Fi plugin which is similar in that it let's you create time and pitch curves. You'll find the Vari-Fi plugin under Audio Suite. We'll send you a link on how to use it.

was struggling with that too,
right before the current elastic audio plugin menu you have the timebase selector (a little green metronome or a little blue clock).
In order to change tempo and stuff like the guy in the video did you have to set it to "ticks". You'll notice you now have all the other elastic properties.

@RastaRhalik Hi, thanks for writing. It could be a number of things. What type of instrument are you recording and how are you connecting it? Make sure your recording onto a stereo audio track and that your connecting the right and left inputs of the instrument into channels 1 and 2 of the Mbox accordingly. If you just hear one side when monitoring try flipping the mono switch on the Mbox.

In your edit window on your track under the track name it will say "waveform", change that to "analysis" to edit the warp points created by the elastic audio, and then change it to "warp". Go into Grid Mode", and you can manually snap all of the points to the tempo of the song if your tempo is set properly.

@Knucklesmd Hello I do this often by accident to. You need to make sure the region is not highlighted, Then you will be able to grab the individual markers to stretch and compress that area.
Hope that helps and my apologies for getting back to you this late

Hi, we would be happy to explain the difference. The TCE tool will allow you to quickly time compress or stretch individual audio regions within your Pro Tools sessions. The Elastic Audio plugin allows you to time stretch and compress audio regions but also allows your pitch correction and other types of processing. Thanks again for watching!

@dustinroberts07 Elastic audio can be accessed by changing your track to tick based. This will allow you to stretch the audio how you'd like. I use the smart tool so this way I can access all the tools to do my manipulation.
Hope that helps out. Let me know if you have any other questions.

@ZoSo5885 Yes you can. But like you said the more and more stretched out or compressed you do it the more weird audio artifacts will be introduced. So just keep that in mind. It is really good for vocals especially when you need to make small adjustments with words/syllables
Hope that helped out.
Let me know if you have anymore questions. Talk to you soon

@tinsaovez Hello you do not need to add more gain to view the wave forms bigger. Go up to the top left of you session where all the tools are located. There you will see a small little icon/button with a waveform on it. That button will allow you to make the waveform bigger or smaller.
Hope that helps and my appolgies for getting back to you late.

Hi snupcho,
Are you making sure that the the region has be un-selected? The stretch will affect selected area(s). So if the entire audio region is selected then the change will be applied to entire region.

Thanks for the great video, I just get the message, "Region: no elastic audio regions selected" in the Elastic Properties box after I select a track or region, and select "Elastic Properties..." from the region menu. What am I doing wrong?
