That man's not a snowflake. He has a good reason to be upset. Why would people want to infuse sexual subjects to small children who need to learn the alphabet? It's very suspect.

The gentleman's grammar is exactly why he and his children should be reading *more* books of any kind, not less. Also, the fact that "equality" is a trigger for anger is a major red flag.

I have to agree.. This is utterly disgusting. We try to raise our kids to know that being gay or trans is wrong... Why put books out that alter our teachings?? Now we have to sit down with oyr grandchildren and tell them that being gay or trans is wrong. Its a damn shame that a choice or preference is in a childrens book.. We want kids to have morals

I don't like cauliflower. But I don't go into the grocery store and complain every time I see cauliflower in the produce section. I don't scream and cry and whine when other customers happily put cauliflower into their grocery carts. I simply ignore cauliflower and leave it on the shelf for the people who like it to purchase, cook, and enjoy.
Why is that so hard for Americans, especially Conservatives to understand?

No more talking about straight couples... because based on today's conservative logic- talking about straight mom's and dad's being a couple together is pushing sexuality on children...

I wish I had books like that when I was a kid. Maybe I wouldn't have been so depressed about being beaten up and harassed for being a gay child. The 80's were rough for us gay kids. Instead of having books to help me through my growth I was confused and ashamed which led to some of the problems I have in my adult life. I'm so happy that these kids today have these resources. Hopefully they don't get taken away and make those little people's lives hell.

This is absolutely ridiculous at a couple different levels. I'm a 61 year old female and I wish I had learn the terminology and definitions of what I'm experiencing today in the world. Why shouldn't children be taught these things? I truly believe that the only bad question is the unasked one. And I have questions . Serious questions, not the Tucker Carlson variety. And last but not least, if a parent does not want their child exposed to those types of books, don't buy those types of books. If you're against gay marriage, don't get gay married. I don't like Fox news or entertainment whatever it is so I don't watch Fox. Easy peasy

My niece had told me about this book. She is in second grade now. But was in first at the time of telling me it was a story time day. I thought it was cool. And I asked her if it was restricted because it would be helpful for other schools in our state? And she says “no I do not think so, they are ok with it cause there are kids in my class that only have one mommy or two daddies”.

Times are certainly changing...at the end of the day each parent has a choice of what books to buy for there kid

He just wants to be allowed to raise his child to call gays all of the slurs that he was taught. Give him a break, guys!
