Family First Friday: let’s talk about Halloween

Halloween is also my daughter’s birthday, so that complicates things 😮

When looking around the Halloween decorations in the neighborhoods, I see a lot of death. Very depressing.

As I was listening to this, I was thinking about what you said about not caring what others think and to be the parent. As my son is in eighth grade at a Christian school and that school only goes up to eighth grade. I am convinced that I don't want to send him to a public school even though he wants to because of friends and sports. Other parents ar his school are always asking where he is going to high school . He is a good athlete and would have a better chance there to pursue sports but it is still a government school. Today's lesson gave me more conviction to stand my ground, be the parent and don't worry about what others think. I have to give an account to the Lord for my parenting. Thanks
