Terms to Know:
Trendelenburg Position - Feet elevated above the position of the heart
Zero Gravity Position - Similar to Trendelenburg with feet above the head
Sleeper Chair - Positions completely flat to simulate a bed position

Products:
Power Assist Recliner/Lift Chair with Trendelenburg Position

I am a below the knee amputee, and use my lift chair and love it. Since I have stairs to go up in my house, I use my lift recliner as my bed also.
This is good for my sleep apnea, as I don't snore as much

I was a lift chair repair tech for 13 years and I saw first hand on how these chairs where a Godsent for many people. She is right on how comfy they are so much so I bought one for myself. Fantastic for watching tv or just relaxing after a days work. It also came in handy for those times I strained a back muscle lifting or working on them.

Thank you for this video! I’m in the process of buying a recliner like this for my husband and I started off in total confusion regarding lift chairs. I have watched many videos and now feel more educated and think we’re ready to purchase one. Buying a good quality lift chair is a large investment and you don’t want to mess up on it!😁

This kind of chair is great if you're recovering from broken ribs. Idk how I would have coped without it. After about a month of living 24/7 in the chair, I could get up myself and sleep in a normal bed again, so renting it was ideal. Luckily it was a brand new one, which was lovely. Possibly because people can do rent-to-purchase and so the rental place kept getting new ones! Great video, thanks.

My late father could have used this. He passed at 97 in December 2022. My mom, 92, is moving into a senior housing facility where the rooms are unfurnished. This video helps a ton. Thank you!

Thanks for the video. I’m looking for a recliner for a elderly friend in her 70s dealing with diabetes and leg swelling issues. This is very helpful

I have a shattered left knee, My recliner is a blessing! It makes getting up To a standing position possible, If I didn’t have it I wouldn’t be able to sit in my living room and watch TV! I cannot get up in a regular chair!

OT here - you helped me so much this week x 2 by providing easy recliner education for client and CGs - and the other piece was those booster pads!! Amazing. Happy OT month, you’re fantastic ❤

Thank You for your info! I guess, I will not sleep in mine anymore. Your video(s) are very helpful to me! I have been to several different PT/OPs and the info you share, I have not been advised. All of your directions make good sense to me having been there and done that.

Own two heavy duty, dual motor chairs so if one requires maintenance, I’ve another to use. If you are coping with Charcot, this type of chair is great!

I use my leg raise & recline feature daily but the up feature I use less often as I prefer to keep my mobility as often as I can even though I use a wheelchair.

Excellent video. I'm a retired nurse with OPMD and I am experiencing extreme muscle weakness. I'm considering purchasing a "lift chair" and doing some research. My condition is progressive and I will not regain muscle strength/tone. I'm using a standard recliner now but having difficulty getting up. Looks like this may be a good solution for me.

I usually sleep in my bed for a few hours then end up in my recliner the other half of the night. Neck issues usually prevent me from sleeping in the bed all night. Can you do a video on various pillows? I’ve spent $100’s to find one that works. It’s always trial and error.
