I am saddened to hear the sad news of James Darren's passing.😪 He was one of my favorite Crooners and Heart Throbs. I admired his works (Singing 🎶 )in the Gidget Movies. I especially enjoyed his acting in the T J Hooker Series 👮 (I have the Series in my DVD Collection; along with the Gidget Movies) I am also the proud owner of his albums. We lost another talented and classy man. He was from the Silent generation. The generation between the Greatest and the Baby Boomers. They weren't the loudest like the spoiled boomers, but they were brave because they served in Korea and Vietnam. They did without because they were growing up during the end of the depression and the start of WW2, yet they succeeded and prospered quietly and gratefully. My mom is of this generation, too. She is also a person who worked, succeeded, and didn't complain. We are losing one of the last generations who worked hard, and loved their country 😢 Mr. James Darren, we'll miss you ❤

A very good singer and he did a great job playing a multitude of roles on screen, whether in the Gidget (and other) movies, on The Time Tunnel television series, on the TJ Hooker series, or as Vic Fontaine in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
