You have hit the nail on the head as to why I DON't buy from Zara. POLYESTER!!! Whenever I go into Zara, I can waste an hour and come out empty handed. I look INSIDE the garment at the label and the minute I see THAT word, I put it back. I love natural fibres. I agree with you about the designs but the workmanship and the fabric are of such poor quality, that I know they are over priced for what they are and won't last the distance. I prefer to bide my time, scour charity shops and vintage designer consignment shops to find garments of high quality. Even the shoes are synthetic. You seem to be the only youtuber influencer who is bold enough to mention it. I think it needs to be part of a conversation we all need to have.

Hi Jess. Completely agree Zara are the queen of polyester. I really liked the first pair of jeans they have a trouser style fit to them, but they both looked lovely on.
The polo neck looked amazing with the dress over it definitely something that elevated the look. X

I do love Zara! I think it's the kind of place that encourages you to step a little fashion forward but at decent prices! However, I agree that the polyester is taking over and there is no need for that. Some of the blouses feel like they could catch fire on a hot day!! You know what I mean, the fabrics just don't feel good.


Not sure if I can swing the 90s jeans but they look fun on you. I agree that the blazer is a must have and as many turtlenecks as you can carry. Love the sandy tones. Looks great with your blonde hair. Oh and those black booties from Sargossa and those from Everlane are fab! And finally

Morning Jess, I love my lazy Sunday mornings watching my fav fashion bloggers! My mum, who ran her own fashion retail business when I was growing up, always says to me the beigey colour of the blouson shirt you wore completely washes me out. I get cross because I want to wear these nude shades, but I could see that is not your best colour either. However the nude polo looked great under the animal print dress. I love that look. The ankle boots👌gorgeous and the high waisted jeans. I watch Trinny too and she says, and I agree, that she now breaks ‘The Rules’.

Hi Jess, couldn"t agree more about the polyester in Zara. I recently bought the same blazer after thinking it for a month :) .. in North Europe I actually found it a thicker material and bought this in a suit too! Like you say you can't go wrong with blazers! much love!

Dear Jess, I'm glad that the huge oversupply of polyester stuff in Zara also 'drives you potty'. Some of their designs I like, but for that reason, among others, I don't buy them because of the fabric.

Your hair looks beautiful - so thick, healthy and shiny! Both jeans look great on you and I love the cotton blouse. The sleeves! Also, the ankle boots - what a find! Have never seen any like them and that’s always a plus, in addition to the fact that they’re comfortable. Polyester issue aside, the green dress is amazing on you.
