First live watch of a launch, with my wife. Well worth the 4+ hour drive to get to the Rocket Launch Viewing Area.

@Rocket Lab - I watch all these launches with great fascination. Especially as a layman. I have a question though. Why do all launch vehicles reduce power for Max Q penetration? I understand there is increasing pressure and stress, but how much more efficient would the launch be (or not be) if there was no throttle down for Max Q?

21:10 . . . What's going on with that Green Laser beam aimed at the right bottom base of launch platform ??

Is there any way you could modify your on-screen graphic showing the skinny red progress line that tracks event milestones so that it is easier to see against the black frame behind it? The contrast is way too subtle for the thousands of colorblind people out there like me to distinguish. Could you either make the red line thicker, or change the black background color to a lighter color rather than black? I would happily be your test subject if needed. Thank you so much, and keep on rocketing!! 😂

Great that they'll soon be able to recover some of those redundant Soviet satellites for further investigation. Love Rocket Lab, let's get that info 'back for the 5 eyes team!
