I feel like bots would work for your first few games when your getting grasp of how the game controls etc, but in actual games it just gets boring because you can just kill them instantly with not a single thought. You basically have to wait 10-20 minutes for an actual game.

For the og Fortnite point you mentioned. I’m seriously starting to think epic refuses to let the fan base enjoy anything og as it is. It always has to have a dumb twist that reminds the player that they would rather focus on chapter 6 and later rather than og. They’re almost bitter that the player base enjoys og more than their new stuff.

I think a happy middle ground for everybody is that bots should be made optional.

They're put into the game to prolong game length there making people play the game for longer. Especially kids, after getting a win they get a lil high and want to play another 20minute prolonged game.

They should just add a bot only mode so people who enjoy easy lobbies can play that but people who want an actual challenge play the normal.

I strongly believe in sbmm without the bots. Im not a great player im incredibly casual but i like a challenge. Because im not that good i get put in lobbies with tons of bots in og mode but it makes every win and every kill feel pointless.

On the first day of og before bots were added i was struggling but barely got a win and it was the most rewarding one ive ever gotten. If epic games is going to balance og they must remove the bots and go more for skill based matchmaking instead

Idk man, bots in OG (or any game mode) are kinda trash, but I feel like it only makes sense because people are just not as clueless as they were in 2017. People know how to play the game now and if everyone in a lobby can play the game in some capacity, it gets unreasonably hard to get dubs and you’re basically outmatched. It gets to a point where it isn’t exciting anymore and it’s just annoying. I feel like skill based matchmaking should stay (if it actually worked) but if it did work, bots could go
