DPS: Tanker truck that drove through George Floyd protest in Minneapolis was not intentional act

Authorities with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety say that it was not an intentional act when a tanker truck drove through a crowd of protesters Sunday on I-35W in Minneapolis. The protesters were marching down I-35W over the death of George Floyd, prompting the Minnesota Department of Transportation to close the freeway sooner than planned.

That truck driver was very lucky he didn't end up like Reginald Denny did in Los Angeles during the Rodney King riots. In the video you saw people that had climbed up on his truck and kicked out his window and we're trying to get it him. Those people that did that could have grabbed the steering wheel and actually hurt somebody. It is against the law to block a highway or freeway.

George Floyd. A frequent flyer in the legal system. He was fighting against being arrested when he died. Yet, he has become a hero. It shows how far morals and decency have slid down the pole in this country. As for these protesters...it's too bad a few of them weren't taken out.
