Flattley: REVOLUTION (Dynamic Overdrive)

If you're looking for an Overdrive with roots in the TS tradition that offers a whole lot more, take a look at the Revolution. Back in August 2021 this UK-built pedal won the coveted 'Guitarists Choice' award and for good reason. Three different clipping options - Op amp, LED and Silicon - serve up a ton of great tonal possibilities, some of which I briefly cover in this video. The Revolution can complement pretty much any guitar/amp combination that I can think of, and it does it dynamically too. Additionally little welcome extras like the LED ring surrounding the footswitch and the stellar finish on the case make the Revolution a bit special. Well done, Mr Flattley! Brett yeah it sounds OK but at 259.00 pounds ( $470 Aus ) I would say this is an incredibly hard sell. It absolutely amazes me why small companies even bother when there are hundreds of good OD/Dist pedals already out there?
