The windshield wiper motor drives your wipers either directly, or through a linkage, and like any other electric motor, may stop working over time. Watch this video to see how to install a new wiper motor on your 2010-2017 Chevrolet Equinox.

This repair was done on a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox LT 2.4L Sport Utility 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

• Wiper Arm Removal Tool
• Adjustable Wrench

Thank you. This helped me out a lot. I figured out most steps by myself, but when I put the assembly back in, the transmission was misaligned and I had to check this vid for the proper alignment.

I am doing a full replacement. Motor and Transmission arm came seperate. Do I grease the ball joint immediately off the motor linkage ball. Not sure what to call it.

My passenger side quit working. I am assuming I need to replace transmission. Could something have just come loose? I'm have a hard time finding a transmission.
