Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m a fresh graduate from accounting background and I’m currently looking for Finance analyst job yet I don’t have any experiences in this field so didn’t know where to start. Your video has given me an idea and route map to prepare myself for interview. Thank you. 😃

Being a financial analyst, how important are your communication and prioritization skills as it relates to working on a team? I come from a public accounting tax background, fast paced and heavily reliant on individual team members performing; I’d like to leverage that experience but not sure if analysts are as typically team oriented

i am a new data analyst. I'm currently attempting to analyze the S&P ETF for high of day and low of day trends. I want to write a function that tells me how often the ETF finished a 3.00 above the previous days high and also track what percentage of days, it finished 3.00 bellow the previous ldays LOD when S&P ETF broke the low of day before.Thsi function should be a walk in the park for a financial analyst.

Great advise for someone your age, but what about mid/late career switchers? I'm more qualified now than I was 20 years ago, but I don't see anyone who can switch. People will say 'they need people' or 'you are certainly qualified, ' but the age discrimination in the US is unreal. There is so much help out there for 20-something or returning moms, but no one cares about the mid career folks (men particularly) with education, qualification and experience and aptitude, but if there is no brand name on the resume, you get rejected. I don't get it.

This is something which is very useful to one who wants to pursue his/her career as a financial analyst. I am a Senior fund accountant working in one of the custodian and currently preparing for my CFA L2 exam. Since my exams got cancelled due to covid and I am thinking to enrol myself for some technical course. What courses do you recommend which could help me in securing my dream role as an analyst? Much appreciated your response!

Great content !! So I’ve two questions here,
1. I just began my career with 1yr work ex in finance in Construction & Energy industry. My question is since I’m unable to know & understand which industry I really like and want to work in, can you suggest a way to figure this out?
2. What skills are required apart from degrees/certifications like CIMA, CFA, etc to stand out from other FP&A applicants?

I graduated in finance in 2021. Due to de pandemic I wasnt able to get any internships on my junior or senior year. I started my career in logistics and now I am a manager but I want to get back to finance because is what I really want to do…. How would you recommend I proceed? I feel old(26) to get an entry level consideration. I am applying for a masters program but in me meantime I am willing to take a paycut. How can I proceed?
