Learn the names of camping items in English with pictures.
A picture of something you may take camping will appear. Under the picture the name (or names) of that item is written.
You will hear the pronunciation of each camping word repeated twice.
Note: Sometimes there are two versions of a word. Both the British English and the American English version of the word appears.
We recommend you repeat each word after you hear them.

The words that appear in this English vocabulary lesson are:
axe, backpack, barbecue/grill, bedroll, binoculars, campfire, camp stove, canoe, compass, cooler, deck chair, first aid kit, fishing rod, flashlight / torch, hammock, hiking boots, insect repellent, kettle, knife, lantern, lighter, map, marshmallows, matches, pocketknife / penknife, rope, sleeping bag, sunscreen, tent, Thermos (flash/bottle).

We end this English lesson with the question:
Do you go camping?

So a barbecue is a grill, isn't it?
I thought that barbecue was meat seasoned in a special way. But then can any grilled meat be called barbecue? Can barbecue be also fish or chicken?
