The Superbowl was not boring. You have to admit watching The Birds defense was incredible. And watching Patrick Mahomes fall in the biggest stage after winning so much was the icing on the cake

I feel like the scale is broken if everything is either D or A tier.
Like just because a game isn't close doesn't mean it's not interesting. The Rams and Texans beating expectations is awesome. The sheer quality of defense in the super bowl was awesome.

It’s absurd how Stafford and the Rams of all teams are the ones who put up the most fight against Philly. Shows how this Rams team just never ever quits, kinda like the Zombie Miami Heat.

The Super Bowl was entertaining af. Watching the Eagles defense & Vic Fangio put on a defensive master class was epic. Similar to Super Bowl 20, 35, 37, 48 & 55.

I'm absolutely floored people are saying the superbowl was boring. I'm biased, I get that, big Eagles fan, but I watched it in a neutral party (of Steelers fans) and they were hype, too. Absolute defensive masterclass. 6 sacks, fumble, 2 ints, and ZERO BLITZES. That D-line had it their way the whole game.

Ranking a game good or bad because of it being close is just fucking weird. Are TDs not entertaining? Or were you sitting there edge of your seat for the Rams 9ers 12-6 game?

Idk about this tier list man just because the score wasn’t close doesn’t mean it wasn’t good

Edit to explain my rationale: although it wasn’t a close score, games don’t have to be close to be entertaining. There were some incredible offensive plays by the chiefs and the Eagles were on it all night on both sides of the ball. Even defense can be interesting with sacks and difficult picks. Scores only improve the on-field product but everyone remembers that side ways throw from Mahomes ever though it was a blowout and it was a dropped pass. Athletes doing crazy athletic stuff is always entertaining.

I think it’s just like how fights can end in a unanimous decision where one guy dominates all night but the other guy makes solid contact and attempt submissions. Yes, the competition may be more of a draw than the feats of athleticism but it can still be appreciated for the crazy bullshit that happens even if it isn’t too close

it was a much more exciting and rewarding super bowl than expected, despite me not liking either team. that scorebug better never come back tho. fox spent their entire budget on getting tom brady to commentate, then spent the rest of their $15 budget on that

As an Eagles fan this year feels like a wild dream. I am so happy with how this franchise turned around the implosion we ended with last year. It was also kind of weird after the game seeing so many teams thanking us for crushing the Chiefs. So used to being hated haha

As a Rams fan, I’m just glad we gave the Eagles the toughest game to play in the playoffs. If Stafford completed that comeback, Rams were definitely going to the Super Bowl
