HISTORY

Inspiration behind Marchand Watch Company can be traced back to Adamir Marchand, who was born in Bienne, Switzerland on the 26th April 1885. A Swiss watch and clock inventor who joined Benrus Watch Company in the early 1930’s. Adamir is the Great grandfather to Daniel Brigham, founder of Marchand Watch Company.

OUR JOURNEY

Having competed and worked in Motorsport for several years in his late teens to early 20’s Daniel had been surrounded by exotic cars, which naturally brought desirable watches to the scene. Being surrounded daily by watches and cars that you dream about our passion for watches was soon established.

When his racing years came to an end Daniel promised himself that he would continue to have an involvement in motorsport through offering products or services that that would bring great pleasure in sharing with others, now we're fortunate enough for this to be in the form of timepieces.

THE DEBONAIR COLLECTION

The Debonair Collection holds vast uniqueness and boasts elegance, to which we gained inspiration for the Debonair's dial from the view that the driver has when sitting in the driving seat. From the driving seat, you firstly have in sight the steering wheel followed by the speedometer. Following the retro flair, we ensured the steering wheel was of the 1960's era with the 3 spoke big hole style, we raised the wheel from the dial surface to boost dimension. We have the added feature of the colour change at 10 o'clock to add authenticity of a speedometer’s rev limiter. The coloured aluminium case rings add to the elegance of the watch and with a detailed stamped caseback the Debonair aims to please all of its owners.

I bought 2 of these for the looks alone. But was blown away by the fit and finish of the watches. I have so many watches but these two Marchands defiantely stand out in a social setting and have led me to two wives at once. Well almost. They look much better in person. The watches that is.

Very unique looking watch. It makes me want to put a steering wheel knob on it, I mean that in a good way. For some reason, I really like how they've done the date on it.

Think that there is a market out there for another racing inspired watch company. Auto dromo do it well but think they are quite expensive for what they are. If this company can push on bring vintage team colours etc to their dials and really capture the essence of the vintage racing scene providing quality at a keen price then they may be onto something

worse watch buying experience ever. I could not wait for my new debonair to arrive.. and when it did.. it didnt work. I was told to take it to my local jeweler so they can change the batter and they'd reimburse me. Not quite the hassle I anticipate enduring when I purchase a new timepiece. The date window is mircroscopic and not remotely as clear as depicted in this example.

I'll not buy another from this company.
