KISS series on Analytics: 27 PIVOT and UNPIVOT

Welcome to the KISS video series. Solving problems that typically required complicated SQL in the past, that can now be easily solved with Analytic SQL syntax. We are now looking at functions that are not specifically analytics, but they are present in the Data Warehousing Guide in the SQL for Analysi s chapter.

In this session we look at how to transpose rows to columns, and columns to rows, using PIVOT and UNPIVOT.
