Is it really THAT good?🤔 MJX Hyper Go honest Long-Term REVIEW

A lot of people were talking about how great the MJX Hyper Go trucks were, so I got one myself. Unfortunately, I did have some Issues with it and am now selling it, idk why everyone was saying it's the best small car and stuff..anyways here's a video of my experiences with it.

If you still want to buy the car in this video:
Or my alternative recommendation, the WLToys 144010:

🚨I put in the wrong picture for the esc replacement by accident!
Here's a link to the correct one:
This is a great budget upgrade transmitter:
I also found some full metal upgraded differentials:

Thanks! Finally an honest review. I'm sick of useless YT channels with ONLY good things to say, like every RC car they review is flawless.

Thank you for showing a 2200mAh li-po will fit! Very valuable info!

Hmm...I was thinking to move to mjx from wltoys because I had enough...ESC, engine, front mounts, driveshaft...
I changed almost everything on it.
Now you made things harder:))

For my own long-term test of the MJX, i ran mine every day within the 30 day return window.
The rear diff broke on two different trucks within 3 weeks. And that's not jumping or anything.
They don't offer steel diffs so i returned and bought a Granite BLX with steel diff upgrades.
Cost a whole lot more, but no throttle delay either. The aftermarket support was not great.

The brake can me adjusted with the throttle trim. It becomes far better with 3s once you have done this. Never had the ESC issues that you had.

Bro did you check the diffs on grease before you run it?

I see they make upgrades for the stock diff and input gear. I will try that as I break the input gear with 3S every 2 packs, and the diffs break easily.
That said it is by far the most durable car in the other parts. No car can take the punishment this one takes and on 3S it is a deamon on the loose.
The wltoys are fast and accurate to drive but don't bash them as they will break into pieces (not just a little bit less durable).
If they solved the gear issues It is a perfect car for bashing, not so for accurate driving / racing.

1:57 a good advice for beginners is actually instead of going up in cells when you are a rookie, 3s is sometimes too much for the intended purposes of a toy car, a safer approach to higher speed and easier on your motor and ecs is go up in discharge rate, lets say you were at 20c go for a 35c, let say you were at 35c go for a 50c but never never never never never never go from 20c to 100c unless your motor can handle more constant voltage. if you were getting 75kmh with 2s 2500mha 25c, go for a 2s 3000mha 35c or 40c that extra constant charge will net you more speed, and yes you can still rip apart your stock plastic diffs if you are careless. going from 7v to 11v its more taxing than going 7.2 to 7.6 or 7.8v

Hi thanks. I also destroyed one teeth of the gears very soon, i think after 10 runs on 2s. They don t look like a sturdy CNC, but just cheap injections gears

Thanks for letting me know! I've watched many reviews saying these are the best. Was bout to buy one when I saw this. I was going to buy one with a DumboRC x6f transmitter upgrade already in it for only $10 more, do you think its worth it If I buy some spare Diffs prior to it coming will it still be a fun little car? thanks!

I had some of throttle issues, just ended up being the throttle trim, my TX had a very sensitive trim knob and even a slight bump and it would give me throttle lag

Thanks for the awesome review! I know the diffs are a weak spot, but just wondered how you and your friend's spur gear and front and rear driveshaft gears held up?

Thanks very much for the first honest review of this car on YT. I kinda felt it in my bones, that they have more problems, than yt sellers tell us.
From what you're saying, it seems they're great for brainless fun, which really mean a young child, that won't notice after only short time, all the weird behaviour of cheap electronics.
I have a feeling that only flyhall fc610 is really worth buying, cause you're forced to buy electronics for it, but the car having centre differential, is actually worth investing. But it won't come cheap at the bottom line.
All those small bashers can only provide very simple and no-expectations fun. Unless crazy durability is the only expectation.

I'm heared that some review says hbx 16889a pro diff is more strong than mjx.

I like your honest review! I'm actually thinking of getting the smaller 1/18 HBX 18889A truck which closely resembles this one.

I have the same truck. Both the front and rear diff screws snapped. I found upgraded diffs. They are made with the better metal. The other issue I had is the rear spur gear (the part that drives the rear diff) stripped. I think 3s is too hard on the gears, I have done both 3s and 2s. I haven’t noticed the delay however. I mainly jump the thing, a lot of fun

Ya'' realize this is a 100 buck RC car turn key. Let me repeat that 100 dollars for even a battery and charger, sorry let me say again 100 bucks. Idk if you caught it but it'll 100 bucks. That's less than a brand name 3S LiPo. Y'all surprised Pikachu memeing about it.

Total noob here, can the speed be limited on this? For $100 it seems like a great beginner RC for my 10yo to play/break/fix to get his feet wet…

I have both a 16207 and a 14210, and on both the cars are cutting out if I go full throttle and into a skid??? Anybody got any ideas? Just purchased 2 new ones, hope it is the Esc.
