Thanks guys, Tom & Riz, plus the camera operator as well. The test you need to do is the heat test on the glass roof like you've done between your Seal & Model Y to compare against with the Zeekr. Did they mention if they had a silver coating on the glass or did you ask the reps while you were there? What were the tyre sizes and assume Conti EcoContact 6?

one advice to Zeekr, price the X cannot exceed is the Tesla Y @ if they do, all the upcoming reviews will only talk about pricing no matter how good the car is...
also the X is one size smaller than Y that's same as the Atto so the X cannot be more over $5-6k more than the BYD

I do like the look of the X but not sure the price is justified. Especially with the short warranty when MG is getting 10 years. The other question mark is servicing. Was there anything mentioned?

They also changed the charging cap for the Aussie market. The one in China had it flush with the rest of the body panel.

Bring the Zeekr 001 FR ticks all the boxes for me. Even the standard version to get sales up. The luxury people mover is a bit of a niece market in Australia now, most people that would buy a tarago 25years ago if they were in the same situation have moved on to SUVs.

What is the retail price in China the cost to ship to Australia and the duty that must be paid ?
That should give you what the price it should be in Australia .
Price seems kinda high is that the dealer gouging or just very high duty ?

Love this car . It’s great to see electric cars are not looking like what designers were predicting in the 1980’s … triangle / bullet shape golf buggy’s . This should sell well .

Great review as always. Just curious, are Zeekr renowned in china for anything in particular? Reliability (like Toyota), innovation(tesla), luxury, performance? They clearly aren’t at the budget end of the market but they dont look to be at the top end of luxury either. I’m just trying to understand why a customer would be interested in this brand other than just because they are good looking, which they are.
