* What is IVF treatment ?
The in vitro fertilizations, the full form of IVF. This is treatment for patients who are not able to have a baby on their own naturally but they have certain issues that we have caught hold of or may be unexplained infertility and in these patients, we give them or offer them the treatment of IVF.
* Who should avoid opting for IVF treatment ?
So according to government guidelines, women aged above 50 or if the couple's age is more than 100, they cannot go for IVF. Apart from that, some women who have serious medical problems like they have got an organ transplant or they have serious health issues, they should avoid IVF treatment but for actual consultation you should visit a doctor.
* What are some common myths and facts we hear about IVF treatment?
So common myths regarding IVF are that some people feel that IVF is the only treatment for infertility. No, apart from IVF, we have certain medicines to help you make eggs. There are other treatments and surgery treatments also available to get you pregnant. But if all fails, then only we go for IVF. Another thing, people think that IVF can be done at any age. No, that is absolutely wrong. It can be done only below 50 years of age, according to rules of the country you are in and apart from this, if you have already entered menopause and a certain time has passed, its difficult to do an IVF, then you have to opt for surrogacy in that case. Apart from this, some people think that IVF drugs can cause cancer. That is absolutely wrong. The IVF drugs are completely safe to have and they do not cause you any disease or cancer for that matter.
