In this video I show you how I made my own little secret hiding place for my junk silver.

Maybe you can add some light duty or medium duty Velcro to the wall and trim piece, then there will be a much less chance of it falling down, especially if you have pets or small kids.

You should record all your secret hiding places in your will. That way if anything happens to you, your family can find your stuff. Although, burglars might find your will and then they'll know where all your secret stuff is. You better make a nice secret hiding place to keep your will...

Use the knife to first cut out the point where the trim meets the wall and around the perimeter of the trim. You are not trying to cut the piece free, just trying to prevent the paint from peeling off the will with the trim.

you can also add magnets to the back of the trim and put steel screws into the wall to secure the molding better.

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly that indentation is on your wall where a small piece of trim like that would be used. What is that?

You could use some command strips that have locking hard mesh to really hold that piece on too.

i ran in to a wall once i broke a peace of it and it was a hole so as me this was a great place to store my crayons so they are still in in that in that hole they are just dusty. i was 7 dont judge me.

Too bad you can't do that in Europe. Our houses are made out of brick, not cardboard like in the US ;-) Cool hiding spot though!

These days, you can get very small high strength magnets from outfits like KJ Magnetics, to better secure that small panel.

How about getting your chair sawing the leg off. Hallow it out. Put something in there, and then put it back on!
