Most of the tire guys down around these parts usually blow a little air in the tube so it's not so "floppy" before putting it in the tire and over the rim... Guess it helps some or they wouldn't do it... I learned something last time I had to get new rears on the tractor-- always buy the tube from the tire guy, not from whomever you source the tire from (if different). I got some Titan 18.4-30's from a local tractor dealer, and he ordered the tubes for me as well, and turns out the tubes were old and checked or something and were leaking. One sealed off, but the other he had to pull the tire again and put a NEW tube in it... PITA...

Hey Rob I got a question for ya, back in the 80s whenI was a young buck workin for a tire shop we would patch big holes in tubes and replace valve stems, fill with fluid and they'd be good for another couple decades. Now every time a tire man comes out he says I need a new tube. No repairing. Sounds like a sham for me! Like those little bocks you put on the rim, back in the day we used vice grips.

Robbie a great video. My years working and trucking on the CN Railway I seen lots of tires changed but never ever seen the way you do it with the steel blockers now that is smart eh!!
You work smart not hard!! well that is wrong because I wouldn't want your job for any money ok eh!! but you sure make it look easy but I know it is hard dirty work.
For friggin sakes get some GD gloves on your hands. I can see it now down the road you eaten chicken wings LOL hahaha hey grease is grease just different colours hahaha.
