Hi Dan, I was going over the same rollercoaster of emotions, when I've ridden FTR 1200 RL for the first time, it's an amazing piece of a motorcycle. I've never had so much fun, on any other of my bikes in the past, not on an L-twin Ducati (it was close but not as visceral, nor on my 3 cylinder XSR 900). Amazing bike, but you need to take a ride to understand how awesome it is :).

Dan, I'm fairly new to your channel but I wanted to say thank you and that I highly enjoy all of your videos (specially the ones aimed at new riders).
I bought a Rebel 500 today as my first motorcycle and I'm super excited! (...you can rest easy, I got full gear as well <-- thanks to you stressing how important full gear is...)
I'm going to finish my Riders course this weekend, so I'll be picking up the Rebel late next week. Keep those videos coming my man, you're a cool cat!

Well I was going to get another V-Max, then I tried a GS 1250, Triumph 1200 S scrambler, Moto Guzzi TT85 even a R E Himalayan but watching you guys all enjoying the Indian I have ridden a Scout, BMW Scrambler, but not yet managed to get a test ride on the FTR1200 S but just listening to you Dan has convinced me this is the one for me.
What really put you off the race replica apart from price £15K will get me one plus a few things extra lose the number plate bracket, get the high level one seat cowl and maybe spoked wheels, but they will probably have to wait a bit, few things to sell once I have the bike.
